Precision-finished Buttweld Fittings ensure a continuous flow in both seamless and welded piping systems.
Butt welding fittings have the following benefits
- Allow strong, and leak-proof, piping connections
- Minimize pressure drops and the turbulence inside the pipeline
- Have a long service life
- Are rather cheap to purchase and deploy
- Carbon, alloy and stainless steel pipes of any size between 2 and 48 inches (And above)
Butt Weld Fittings have been fully tested to international standards to ensure we only supply the highest quality products.
We have a wide variety of fittings available on short lead times and bespoke made including:
- ASME B16.9
- MSS SP43
- 45° elbows
- 90° elbows
- Straight and reducing tees
- Couplings
- Half couplings
- Caps
- Plugs
- Crosses
Forged Fittings that we supply are corrosion resistant and designed to operate in high-pressure environments.
The term “forged fittings” refers to two families of pipe fittings (socket weld and threaded) used for small bore pipes and piping systems. These fittings are manufactured by forging and machining solid steel and are available in a multitude of shapes like elbows, tees, reducers, unions, couplings.
Socket weld fittings are used for applications where strong and long-lasting connections are required. Socket weld fittings are very reliable but are time-consuming to install in a piping system
For piping systems below 2 inches in diameter, socket weld and threaded (forged) fittings are generally used (ASME B16.11).
