Seamless Pipe
A seamless pipe is a pipe without a seam or a weld joint. Seamless pipes are able to withstand higher pressures, higher temperatures, higher mechanical stress, and corrosive atmospheres.
Seamless Stock Materials and sizes:
- Duplex 2205: 1/2'' NB - 12'' NB in major schedules
- Super Duplex 2507: 1/2" NB - 8" NB S/10s, 40S, 80S, 160
- Austenitic Stainless: 12"NB - 24" NB in major schedules
- Super Stainless: 904L, 254, alloy 20, 1/2" NB - 14" NB In major schedules
- Nickel Alloys: 800H/T, alloy 20, 200, 201, 400 in major sizes
- Exotic Alloys: C276, C22, B2/B3, 600/601, 625/825
Welded Pipe
Stringent manufacturing methods and quality assurance procedures for welded pipes means that as long as a welded pipe’s specified tolerances for temperature and pressure aren’t surpassed, there is no reason why it shouldn’t perform just as well as a seamless pipe.
Welded Stock Materials and sizes:
- Duplex 2205: 2'' NB - 24'' NB in major schedules
- Super Duplex 2507: 6" NB - 24" in major schedules
- Austenitic Stainless: 4"NB - 24" NB in major schedules
- Super Stainless: 904L, 254, alloy 20, 4" NB - 24" NB In major schedules
- Nickel Alloys: 800H/T, alloy 20, 200, 201, 400 in major sizes
- Exotic Alloys: C276, C22, B2/B3, 600/601, 625/825 in major sizes
