The Process

how it works?

1. Enquiry Comes In

  • Salesperson determines the region in which the enquiry comes from and distributes it to the relevant salesperson.
  • Salesperson will discuss in detail with the client the exact requirements for the Project to help determine the most efficient and cost-effective route of supply.
  • The RFQ is entered into the system and an individual reference number is generated.
  • The team will work with our Global supply chain to produce a quotation in accordance with client requirements within the required lead times.
  • The quotation is sent to the customer with the reference number and pricing validity.

2. Order Received

  • Salesperson to check if the quotation is current and within the quotation validity period. Salesperson to agree the revised costs with the customer and gain written approval to proceed.
  • The order is contract reviewed by the salesperson and all relevant documentation relating to the order is collated and attached to the order pack.
  • The Sales Manager will then perform a secondary check of the order pack to ensure all relevant information is attached.
  • The order is then entered onto the system where a sales order number is generated and a sales order acknowledgement is sent to the client.
  • The client will review the sales order acknowledgement and sign and return to the salesperson once happy.

3. Place Orders With Suppliers

  • PO is placed with supplier and are advised of inspection and packing instructions.
  • Suppliers to 100% visually inspect and 10% dimensionally inspect goods to relevant specifications
  • If additional testing and inspection is required then we can also arrange this at suppliers’ facility prior to shipment.
  • Certification, packing lists, Invoice and collection details are provided to the customer.
  • Once items are inspected and ready for shipment, the client is advised and shipping is arranged with our Global freight forwarders. (Clients can arrange own shipment also).
  • Photos are taken of the goods and final packing and uploaded to a shared client database under the client’s name.
  • Order is then collected and shipped direct to the customers required delivery address.
